Turtle Talk: New Additions

While the sea turtle hatchlings of 30A and South Walton have been busy emerging from their nests, we have been busy adding some new additions of our own.

Ours are not as adorable or exciting, but we are happy about them none-the-less.

Over the summer, our volunteers have worked tirelessly to get this new organization off the ground.

Some have been busy adding new friends and Turtle Friendly Businesses to our list of supporters and distribution sites for educational books and materials.

Others have been busy taking photos of Shelly and coordinating educational events at the library, bookstores and beaches.

A few stayed busy designing educational placemats, coloring and activity books for local restaurants – as well as working on our new stickers and other awareness efforts.

Still others kept busy updating the website, writing blogs, coordinating our summer newsletter, and making sure that those awareness messages on social media stayed current.

We are thrilled with the progress and hope you will Join the Team as a new volunteer or board member this fall!
